In 2009, under the promotion of the Beijing Municipal Government, Shougang Group, Fangshan State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and Tianbao Group jointly established Beijing West Heavy Industry, and acquired the suspension and braking business of Delphi Corporation of the United States for nearly US$90 million. Beijing West Heavy Industry's customer base includes Ferrari, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Jaguar, Volvo and other high-end European automobile manufacturers, and has successively won the titles of "Ferrari Best Partner", "Jaguar Land Rover Product Development Excellent Technology Award", "Volvo Quality Excellence Award" and "Dongfeng Honda Excellent Supplier".
