Fuzhou pilots driverless cars, 15 stations open

Fuzhou has become one of the pilot cities for the application of "vehicle-road-cloud integration" of intelligent connected vehicles, and 15 unmanned driving stations have been opened. Baidu, King Long, Qingzhou Zhihang and other testing entities have successfully applied for 22 temporary licenses for intelligent connected test and demonstration vehicles. All test vehicles are L4 level autonomous driving vehicles. At present, Fuzhou has deployed 36 unmanned vehicles, including 20 unmanned taxis, 2 unmanned MINI buses, 6 unmanned buses and 8 small species vehicles, with a cumulative mileage of 90,000 kilometers. According to the "Guidelines for the Construction of Intelligent Connected Roads in Fuzhou New District", Fuzhou New District is classifying the intersections within 188 square kilometers of the new district, renovating and upgrading 277 advanced intelligent connected intersections and 105 basic intelligent connected intersections, and strives to open autonomous driving test and demonstration operation services in the entire area by 2025.
