BMW becomes the world's first automaker to receive combined certification for L2+ and L3 intelligent driving systems

BMW has obtained certification in Germany for equipping the same model with both L2+ intelligent driving assistance system and L3 autonomous driving system, becoming the first automaker in the world to obtain such certification. This combination function will be launched in the German market in August this year and will first be applied to the new BMW 7 Series.
