The number of large-scale autonomous driving projects in China will increase in the first half of 2024

In the first half of 2024, the number of large-scale projects in China's autonomous driving field reached 36, accounting for 24% of the total number of winning projects, while the proportion in the same period of 2023 was 15%. These large-scale projects are mainly concentrated in four major scenarios: unmanned mining areas, unmanned sanitation, unmanned docking and unmanned ports. In terms of geographical distribution, Guangdong, Beijing, Jiangsu and Xinjiang are the regions with the largest number of winning projects in China's autonomous driving in the first half of 2024. Among them, Guangdong is dominated by unmanned sanitation and teaching aids projects, while Beijing is dominated by EPC projects. Jiangsu and Xinjiang are dominated by unmanned sanitation and smart agriculture and teaching aids projects respectively.
