Nine of the top ten car brands in Russia are Chinese brands

In June this year, of the approximately 124,000 newly registered passenger cars in Russia, approximately 76,000 were Chinese brands. This means that Chinese cars account for more than 60% of the Russian market. In the list of the top ten car brands in Russia, except for the local brand Lada, the other nine are Chinese brands, namely Haval, Chery, Geely, Changan, Omoda (Chery), Xingtu, Belee (Geely), Jietu, and Jaecoo (Chery's brand).
