Vietnamese electric car maker VinFast seeks $250 million in bank loans to build factory in Indonesia

Vietnamese electric car maker VinFast is seeking about $250 million in bank loans to finance the construction of an assembly plant in Subang, Indonesia, according to people familiar with the matter. VinFast has approached Indonesian banks for U.S. dollar loans or loans issued in local currency.
