Wuhu Bethel Automotive Safety Systems Co., Ltd. was established in June 2004. It focuses on the research, development, manufacturing and sales of automotive chassis systems and intelligent driving systems. It was listed on the Shanghai A-share main board in 2018 (stock code: 603596). The company has built independent development and manufacturing capabilities for automotive braking systems, electronic control, intelligent driving, suspension systems, steering systems, and lightweight cast aluminum products. The products that have been put into mass production include: wire control brake system (WCBS), advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), electronic parking brake system (EPB), vehicle stability control system (ESC), electric tailgate system (PLG), electric steering system (EPS), as well as various brakes, lightweight cast aluminum steering knuckles, control arms, steering columns, mechanical steering, etc. At present, there are 14 production bases in Anhui, Zhejiang, Hebei, Sichuan, Shandong, Saltillo, Mexico, etc., and 7 R&D centers in Anhui, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Detroit, USA, etc., with more than 1,000 R&D technicians. The company insists on independent research and development and innovation, becoming the world's second company to achieve mass production of EPB, the first Chinese brand to achieve mass production of ESC, and the first Chinese brand to achieve the release and mass production of ONE-BOX wire control brake system. A total of 786 patents have been applied for at home and abroad, including 361 invention patents, involving many countries around the world such as the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and the European Union. The main customers of supporting services currently include: Chery, GM, Changan, Geely, Volvo, GAC, BAIC, Jiangling, Dongfeng Nissan, Stellantis, Ford, Mahindra, Tata, Ideal, Xiaopeng, Weilai, JAC, Great Wall, BYD, Seres, etc., with operating income of approximately RMB 7.5 billion in 2023.
