XD Sanan Optoelectronics: The company provides silicon carbide products with superior performance, which can be used in charging piles, photovoltaics, energy storage and other fields, and can effectively improve energy conversion efficiency and reduce product volume. Hunan Sanan, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, is one of the few domestic silicon carbide vertical industry chain manufacturing platforms. The industry chain includes crystal growth-substrate production-epitaxial growth-chip preparation-packaging. By the end of 2022, the silicon carbide production capacity has reached 12,000 pieces/month, and the silicon-based gallium nitride production capacity is 2,000 pieces/month. The second phase of Hunan Sanan's project will be completed in 2023, and the annual supporting production capacity will reach 360,000 pieces after reaching full production. The company's silicon carbide business is progressing smoothly. The substrate has been verified by several major international customers, one of which has achieved mass shipments, and the supply in 2023 and 2024 has been basically locked in; the silicon carbide diode products have excellent performance, and the fourth generation of high-performance products has been launched; silicon carbide MOSFET has launched 1200V80mΩ/20mΩ/16mΩ series products; the silicon-based gallium nitride foundry platform is iterating towards low-voltage 200V and high-voltage 900V platforms. In addition, Hunan San'an and STMicroelectronics will set up a joint venture foundry company in Chongqing to produce silicon carbide epitaxy and chips exclusively for sale to STMicroelectronics. The planned production capacity of the joint venture is 10,000 pieces/week after reaching full production; Hunan San'an will set up a wholly-owned subsidiary to produce 8-inch silicon carbide substrates for the joint venture, with a production capacity of 480,000 pieces/year after reaching full production.
