Overview of Guangdong Province’s energy storage projects in the first half of 2024

According to incomplete statistics from industry experts, Guangdong Province has filed a total of 1,046 energy storage projects with a total investment of approximately RMB 83.733 billion between January and June 2024. These projects include 88 capacity-type energy storage projects with a total investment of approximately RMB 28.48515 billion; 731 user-side energy storage projects with a total investment of approximately RMB 2.88831 billion; 142 photovoltaic storage/storage-charging/photovoltaic storage-charging integrated projects with a total investment of approximately RMB 2.96729 billion; and 85 large-scale energy storage projects such as independent energy storage/power-side energy storage, with a total investment of approximately RMB 49.39217 billion.
