Beijing approves Carl Power to conduct L4 autonomous truck platooning tests

Recently, Carl Power has been approved by Beijing's Intelligent Connected Vehicle Policy Pilot Zone to conduct L4 autonomous driving truck platoon tests on open roads. This is a move in response to the country's policy of reducing logistics costs and aims to improve transportation efficiency and safety. Carl Power has been conducting regular testing and operations in North China and Northwest China, with a total freight weight of more than 32 million ton-kilometers.
