Germany plans to gradually remove Huawei technology and components

Germany's ruling coalition has agreed in principle to gradually remove Huawei's technology and components from the country's 5G network. The move is for so-called "security" reasons and is expected to be completed in two phases in 2026 and 2029 respectively.
