Many countries have begun to ban Chinese telecommunications network equipment companies

The United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, and more than a dozen EU countries, including France and Germany, have begun to ban equipment from Chinese telecom network equipment companies. Despite pressure from leaders of the United States and European countries, not all countries are keen on the idea.
