Foxconn subsidiary acquires Voltaira to strengthen electric vehicle market presence

Foxconn Interconnect Technology (FIT), a subsidiary of the Taiwanese electronics group Foxconn, has acquired the automotive parts supplier Voltaira from Prettl Holding in Pfullingen for approximately 186 million euros. Voltaira has an annual turnover of approximately 400 million euros, while FIT has 5 billion euros and parent company Foxconn has 200 billion euros. The acquisition is another strategic move by Foxconn to enter the electric vehicle market and aims to strengthen its layout in the electric vehicle market.
