Russia becomes China's largest auto importer

According to the latest data, China exported 2.45 million vehicles in the first five months of this year. Russia has become the largest importer of Chinese cars, with imports reaching 372,500 vehicles, surpassing countries such as Mexico and Brazil. In 2023, a total of 30 Chinese brands occupied the Russian market, among which Chery, Haval and Geely performed particularly well. The SUV models of these brands have achieved good sales in the Russian market and occupied an important part of the market share.
