Jaguar cuts several low-profit models to make way for new pure electric vehicles

Jaguar, a British luxury car brand, announced that it will significantly streamline its product line, including the XE, XF sedan and its travel version, F-Type sports car, E-Pace SUV and the first pure electric model I-Pace. This move is mainly due to the low profits of these models, and at the same time to make room for the upcoming new pure electric models. Jaguar CEO Adrian Mardell said that the profitability of these models that are about to be discontinued is close to zero, and new models based on a new architecture will be launched in the future to replace existing models.
