Chinese automaker Hongqi plans to launch its EH7 and EHS7 electric models in Europe later this year, according to reports. Despite the European Commission's announcement of temporary tariffs ranging from 17.4% to 37.6% on imported Chinese electric vehicles, the Chinese auto industry is determined to expand in Europe. By 2026, Hongqi plans to enter the UK market. In overseas markets, Hongqi plans to launch 12 new models in the next five years. These moves are part of Hongqi's efforts to accelerate its global expansion and improve its competitiveness to cope with the global wave of electric vehicles.
