GM CEO admits he won't be able to produce 1 million electric vehicles a year

GM CEO Mary Barra recently said that due to market demand not meeting expectations, the company is temporarily unable to achieve its goal of producing 1 million pure electric vehicles per year in North America by the end of 2025. Although GM previously stated that it would have a production capacity of 1 million electric vehicles in China and North America by 2025, it now appears that this goal may need to be adjusted based on market demand.
