Melexis: Automotive business accounts for 90% of global revenue

At the 2024 Munich Shanghai Electronics Show, Melexis said that the most important market for Melexis is the automotive field. Currently, about 90% of global revenue comes from the automotive business. Founded in 1989, Melexis has shipped more than 1.8 billion Melexis chips by 2023. Melexis' products and solutions are widely used in automotive powertrain, thermal management system, battery and other fields. In 2023, global passenger car sales will be about 90 million units, and each new car will be equipped with an average of about 20 Melexis chips. The number of related chips installed in new energy vehicles has increased by 1.5-2 times, and Melexis' new energy vehicle-related products have driven performance growth.
