Jiangling Motors and WeRide cooperate to develop driverless trucks

The driverless trucks developed by Jiangling Motors and WeRide have been used in intra-city freight scenarios on public roads. In May 2024, the driverless trucks jointly developed by the two parties obtained the licenses for "pure unmanned testing" and "cargo testing" of autonomous urban freight trucks in Guangzhou. This is China's first L4-level autonomous freight truck pure unmanned remote testing license on open urban roads, and it is also China's first 24/7 all-day autonomous freight truck cargo testing activity.
