Chery surpasses SAIC to become China's automobile export champion

According to the latest statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, Chery's exports were 532,000 vehicles, while SAIC's exports were 439,000 vehicles. Although SAIC was the largest exporter of independent brands in the first half of 2023, Chery's exports increased by 10.14% this year, while SAIC's exports fell by 9.1%. In the first half of this year, BYD's vehicle exports in overseas markets reached 207,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 160%.
