New energy heavy truck sales to double in the first half of 2024

In the first half of 2024, the sales volume of new energy heavy-duty trucks reached 28,007 units, an increase of 2.4 times compared with the same period last year. Sales volume has shown explosive growth in each month, and the overall market trend is positive. Among the top ten companies in terms of sales volume, brands such as XCMG, Sany, Sinotruk, and Yutong performed particularly well. Among them, XCMG ranked first with sales of 4,903 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 116% and a market share of 18%. Sany followed closely behind, with cumulative sales of 4,791 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 93% and a market share of 17%. In addition, sales of brands such as China National Heavy Duty Truck and Yutong also achieved significant growth.
