In 2023, Star Semiconductor established a new R&D center in Zurich, Switzerland. The Zurich R&D center is Star Semiconductor's second overseas R&D center after the Nuremberg R&D center. In 2023, the sales revenue of IGBT modules accounted for 91.55% of Star Semiconductor's main business revenue. The automotive-grade IGBT modules used in main motor controllers produced by Star Semiconductor continued to increase in volume, with a total of more than 2 million sets of new energy vehicle main motor controllers. Its share of semiconductor devices for new energy vehicles such as car air conditioners, charging piles, and electronic power steering has further increased. Star Semiconductor's main business is the design, development, production and sales of power semiconductor chips and modules based on IGBT and SiC. Star Semiconductor has long been committed to the design and process of power chips such as IGBT, fast recovery diodes, MOSFET, and the design, manufacture and testing of power modules such as IGBT and SiC MOSFET. Its products are widely used in industrial control and power supply, photovoltaics, new energy vehicles, white goods and other fields.
