CATARC and Lingang New Area Management Committee signed a cooperation agreement to promote cross-border flow of automotive data

On July 18, China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. (CATARC) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Lingang New Area Administrative Committee of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone (Lingang New Area Administrative Committee) and held a ceremony to unveil the Lingang New Area Automotive Data Cross-border Innovation Center. The innovation center will focus on cross-border data flow business in the automotive field, including cross-border data flow rules docking, security assessment system research, and outbound compliance services. In addition, it will promote the confirmation of ownership, assetization, trading system research and platform development of automotive data, and introduce and cultivate new formats for the development of automotive data elements in the Lingang New Area.
