SAIC-GM launches several new models, but sales are limited

Since 2022, SAIC-GM has launched a number of new-generation electrified products in China, including the Cadillac Lyriq, Buick Electra 5 and Buick Electra 4 crossovers. However, the sales of these new models have not been ideal, with monthly sales hovering below 10,000 units. GM's sales in China have continued to decline, plummeting 50% in the first half of this year to less than 225,000 units. Among them, only about 26,000 vehicles were sold in June, a year-on-year decrease of 50%.
