Guangyi Technology was established on July 19, 2017. In November 2017, Guangyi Technology's sheet coating equipment was successfully debugged and the first electrochromic device was manufactured. In 2018, the prototypes of the three major products, rearview mirrors, sunroofs, and curtain walls, were completed. The first order was obtained in May 2019. In June 2019, the first 650mm roll-to-roll (R2R) production line was completed. In February 2020, the A round of financing was successful. In December 2020, it cooperated with OPPO to launch the world's first electrochromic mobile phone. In March 2021, the B round of financing was successful. In June 2021, ZEEKR 001 and Aion S PlusEC light-sensing skylights were released. In July 2021, OPPO's second-generation electrochromic mobile phone was released. In November 2021, the C round of financing was successful. In May 2022, BYD Seal EC light-sensing skylight model was released. In June 2022, NIO ES7 was released, and the entire series was equipped with Guangyi automatic anti-glare rearview mirror; in October 2022, Nezha S panoramic heat-insulating and color-changing skylight was officially released; in October 2022, it obtained ISO/IATF16949 automotive industry quality system certification; in December 2022, Guangyi and NIO cooperated to upgrade, and a new generation of black and gray smart dimming skylight was unveiled on EC7; in May 2023, BYD Seal Champion Edition EC light-sensing skylight model was released; in June 2023, NIO ET5T was released, equipped with Guangyi smart dimming panoramic skylight; in August 2023, BYD's first pioneer hunting SUV Song L was equipped with Guangyi EC light-sensing skylight; in September 2023, Avita 12 was released equipped with the world's first smart light-sensing front windshield and smart light-sensing panoramic skylight; in September 2023, NIO's 2023 EC6 was released equipped with Guangyi smart dimming panoramic skylight.
