Serbian president pledges not to sell lithium to China, prioritizes European automakers

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić made it clear in an interview with German media Handelsblatt that Serbia will not sell lithium resources to Chinese automakers and will give priority to supporting European automakers such as Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Stellantis. Vučić also revealed that Serbia will sign a framework agreement on mineral raw materials with the EU on July 19.
