Waymo and Uber partner to expand self-driving ride-hailing services

In order to expand the scope of autonomous driving travel services, Waymo established a new multi-year strategic partnership with Uber in May this year. Passengers can now directly call Waymo cars through the Waymo One application, and Uber users can also experience the safety and convenience of Waymo Driver in the Uber and Uber Eats applications. In June this year, Waymo officials stated on the X platform that the fifth-generation Robotaxi can currently accept 50,000 orders per week, and the sixth-generation Robotaxi is also being tested on the road.
