SK On completes three-way merger to become global battery and trading company

SK On, a new energy vehicle battery manufacturing company under South Korea's SK Group, announced on February 1, 2025 that it had completed a three-way merger and officially set sail as a "global battery and trading company." The merger includes the merger of SK On with SK Enterm and SK Trading International. The merged entity will operate under the name of SK On, aiming to enhance its core competitiveness in the battery business by enhancing its raw material procurement capabilities and financial stability.
