Nvidia is reportedly developing a new AI chip called "B20" specifically for the Chinese market. The chip is based on the new Blackwell GPU architecture and complies with US export control policies. Due to the strict export restrictions imposed by the US government on high-performance chips, Nvidia has had to "castrate" its products to meet policy requirements. Despite this, Nvidia expects to ship more than 1 million new NVIDIA H20 acceleration chips to the Chinese market this year, with each chip expected to cost between $12,000 and $13,000, which will bring it more than $12 billion in revenue.
