GlobalFoundries Announces Leadership Changes, Dr. Thomas Caulfield Becomes Executive Chairman, Tim Breen Becomes CEO

GlobalFoundries has announced significant leadership changes with Dr. Thomas Caulfield being named Executive Chairman and Tim Breen being named CEO. Caulfield succeeds Ahmed Yahia, who is stepping down after more than a decade as Chairman. Breen, who has been with GF since 2018 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO), will succeed Caulfield. Additionally, Niels Anderskouv, currently GF’s Chief Commercial Officer, has been named President and COO of GF. These changes will take effect on April 28, 2025.
