More than 50% of Shanghai Electric Drive's shipments are supplied to Changan Benben E-Star

Take Wuling Hongguang MiniEV as an example. This hot-selling mini car has motor suppliers including Founder Motor, Shuanglin Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Electric Drive, and motor controller suppliers including Suntech Power, Inbol, and Yangteng Electronics. Except for Shanghai Electric Drive, the largest customer of the other five manufacturers is SAIC-GM-Wuling, accounting for more than 50% of the shipments. More than 50% of Shanghai Electric Drive's shipments are for Changan Benben E-Star, and other supporting models are also concentrated in the mini car field. Most domestic independent suppliers face the problem of a large share of the mini car field, low technical barriers, and high customer concentration.
