Samsung announces large-scale recall involving high-voltage battery pack failures in multiple brands of cars

Samsung has announced a massive recall of 180,196 vehicles from Ford, Audi and Stellantis, whose high-voltage battery packs are at risk of failure and could cause fires. Among all the affected brands, Stellantis is in the worst situation. The recall covers the 2020 to 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and the 2022 to 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe, both of which are plug-in hybrid vehicles.
