Porsche expects full-year revenue to reach 39 billion to 40 billion euros this year, lower than the original expectation of 40 billion to 42 billion euros. This is mainly due to the shortage of special aluminum alloys, which has caused the company to reduce production. In addition, the supplier's factory suffered a flood disaster. As early as 2023, Porsche has reached a cooperation with the Norwegian company Hydro and plans to use low-carbon aluminum provided by Hydro in the production of its sports cars. The ecological footprint of this aluminum can be less than 4 kilograms of carbon dioxide per kilogram, and the production process will use renewable energy.
