Ford's automotive divisions performed differently, with electric vehicle business continuing to lose money

In 2024, Ford's three divisions performed differently. The Ford Pro division (commercial vehicles and services) earned $66.9 billion in revenue and $9.02 billion in EBIT. The Ford Blue division (fuel vehicles and hybrids) earned the highest revenue of $101.9 billion, but its EBIT was $5.29 billion, down 22% year-on-year. The only loss-making division was the Ford Model e division (electric vehicles), which still had a loss of $5.08 billion despite $1.4 billion in cost optimization.
