In a recent earnings call, Intel announced that their new product Panther Lake processor will be available in the second half of this year, and they plan to release another processor Nova Lake in 2026. This new Panther Lake processor is the world's first to be manufactured using the most advanced 18A process technology (1.8 nanometer level) and has been delivered to Lenovo. It is reported that the processor uses RibbonFET all-around gate transistor technology and has a back-side power transmission option called PowerVia. The launch of Panther Lake processors is crucial for Intel because 70% of its production comes from in-house manufacturing, which can significantly reduce costs and improve profit margins. According to reports, Intel's next-generation Panther Lake processor for mobile devices will be released in the second half of 2025 and is expected to be named Core Ultra 300V series.
