Humanoid robot unicorn Figure ends collaboration with OpenAI, claims major technological breakthrough

According to reports, Brett Adcoc, founder and CEO of Figure, a humanoid robot unicorn with a valuation of $2.6 billion, announced on Twitter that he would terminate his cooperation agreement with OpenAI. He said that the company has made a major breakthrough in end-to-end robot AI developed entirely independently and will demonstrate some unprecedented innovations in the next 30 days. OpenAI was a long-term investor in Figure, and the two sides had jointly developed the next generation of artificial intelligence models for humanoid robots.
