Times Changan Power Battery Co., Ltd. recently signed an important cooperation agreement with Sichuan-Chongqing Gaozhu New District, announcing that it will invest 5 billion yuan to build a power battery production base with an annual production capacity of 25GWh. Once completed, the project is expected to provide battery support for more than 250,000 vehicles in Chongqing's new energy vehicle industry each year, promote the coordinated development of the region's new energy vehicle industry chain, and is expected to achieve an annual output value of approximately 18 billion yuan in economic benefits.
