Xpeng Motors and Volkswagen Group Collaborate on Next-Generation Electronic and Electrical Architecture

Chinese smart electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng Motors and German automotive giant Volkswagen Group recently announced an important strategic cooperation to jointly develop the next-generation electronic and electrical architecture (EEA). This cooperation will be based on Xpeng Motors' latest generation of EEA architecture and applied to Volkswagen's CMP and MEB platforms produced in China. The CMP platform is mainly aimed at the entry-level electric vehicle market, while the MEB platform is aimed at the global market and supports different levels of electric vehicles.
