Audi recently announced that it will maintain the original model naming method and will not make any changes. Previously, Audi planned to distinguish between electric and fuel models by changing the model number. For example, odd numbers represent fuel vehicles (such as A3, A5, A7), and even numbers represent electric vehicles (such as A4, A6). However, this decision has now been canceled. Audi's upcoming new A6 will still use the tail label to distinguish between fuel vehicles and electric vehicles, with TFSI representing gasoline vehicles and e-tron representing electric vehicles.
