Bosch to acquire Johnson Controls-Hitachi's heating and air conditioning business for $8 billion

German technology giant Bosch Group recently announced that it will acquire the heating and air conditioning business for residential and small commercial buildings from Johnson Controls-Hitachi (JCH) for $8 billion. This is the largest acquisition in the history of the Bosch Group. JCH is a leading global supplier of heating, ventilation and air conditioning for residential and small commercial buildings, with operations in more than 30 countries. The acquisition includes 16 production bases and 12 R&D bases and is expected to be completed within 12 months.
