China's Ministry of Finance announced that starting from February 10, 2025, a 10% tariff will be imposed on some imported cars originating from the United States, including fuel-powered passenger cars, trucks and agricultural trailers. This move is expected to put pressure on the sales of American brands in China, such as Ford, General Motors (Cadillac, Buick, Chevrolet), Lincoln, and Jeep, Chrysler, and Dodge under the Stellantis Group.
