Foxconn and Henan Provincial Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement to accelerate the implementation of electric vehicles and other industries

Foxconn, a subsidiary of Hon Hai Technology Group, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Henan Provincial Government, planning to promote the implementation of electric vehicle, energy storage battery, digital health and robotics industries. Foxconn will focus on the layout of electric vehicle trial production center and solid-state battery projects in Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone, with the goal of building Zhengzhou Airport into a core production base for electric vehicles. Last September, Hon Hai Technology Group and Canadian solid-state battery design and manufacturer Blue Solutions announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation. Hon Hai will work with its subsidiary Core Technology and Blue Solutions to jointly develop and build a solid-state battery ecosystem for the two-wheel electric vehicle market.
