Tesla's Mexican assembly plant project is on hold pending US election results

Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that Tesla's assembly plant construction project in Mexico has been suspended until at least after the US presidential election in November due to concerns that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump may impose tariffs on Mexican-produced cars.
