Honda Motor will close and stop production of two fuel vehicle factories in China

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced that it will reduce the annual production capacity of gasoline vehicles in China from 1.49 million to 1 million. Honda Motor will close and stop production of two fuel vehicle factories in China. Among them, a Guangqi Honda joint venture factory in Guangzhou will be closed in October. The factory mainly produces Accord sedan models with an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles; the Dongfeng Honda joint venture factory in Wuhan will stop production in November. The factory has an annual production capacity of 240,000 vehicles.
