MAHLE achieves breakthrough in hydrogen internal combustion engine power system

With more than 100 years of experience in internal combustion engines, the Mahle Group has successfully developed pistons, piston rings and valve lifters for hydrogen internal combustion engines, and will be the first in the world to achieve mass production this year. Deutz Engines, an old customer of the Mahle Group, will purchase Mahle's hydrogen engine products and first apply them to static engines, and will gradually expand to non-road vehicles such as excavators and mining machinery in the near future.
