LG Innotek enters semiconductor glass substrate market

LG Innotek is looking for partners, targeting companies that have mastered the core technologies of semiconductor glass substrates such as glass through-hole electrodes (TGV) and glass cutting processing. It is reported that the company has begun basic preparations for manufacturing semiconductor glass substrates and has conducted a lot of technical negotiations. In this process, LG Display provided indirect support. In order to obtain early semiconductor glass substrate technology, the two companies jointly operated an informal meeting body to jointly meet challenges.
