Microsoft Cloud Services Partners with Multiple Automakers and Smart Driving Companies

Microsoft's cloud services have established long-term partnerships with many automakers and smart driving companies. For example, in 2018, Microsoft and Volkswagen worked together to develop the "Volkswagen Automotive Cloud". In January 2021, Microsoft and Cruise, a self-driving company under GM, reached a long-term strategic cooperation agreement. Microsoft and Honda and others jointly invested $2 billion in Cruise and used the cloud computing platform Azure to provide support for Cruise.
