BYD's new energy vehicle sales have grown significantly, leading the global market

In January 2025, BYD's new energy vehicle production reached about 327,900 units, a year-on-year increase of 59.48%; sales were about 300,500 units, a year-on-year increase of 49.16%. Among them, BYD passenger car sales were 296,446 units, a year-on-year increase of 47.5%. By brand, BYD Auto Dynasty丨Ocean sold 278,221 units, Fangchengbao Automobile sold 6,219 units, Denza Automobile sold 11,720 units, and Yangwang Automobile sold 286 units. In the overseas market, in January, BYD sold 66,336 new energy passenger vehicles overseas, a year-on-year increase of 83.4%. Among the top ten complete vehicle exporters in 2024, BYD exported 433,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 71.8%, becoming the leader among Chinese auto brands.
