China's auto import sales fall 4% in the first half of 2024

According to the latest data from the China Passenger Car Association, China's auto import sales in the first half of 2024 were 332,000 units, down 4% year-on-year, showing negative growth for the third consecutive year. Japan, Germany and the United States are the three countries with the largest import volumes, with sales of 99,800, 87,300 and 56,700 units respectively. However, Germany's sales fell 25% year-on-year, while sales in the United States and Japan increased by 1% and 34% respectively.
