NIO's R&D spending continues to grow

NIO's R&D spending has grown 23.9% annually to 13.4 billion yuan ($1.89 billion) last year. The company, which has more than 11,000 R&D staff, says its multi-year effort in in-house chip development will have a significant impact on the autonomous vehicle industry.
